I'm interested in issues related to the way in which we organize as a society, in how the individual relates to its environment and others in the current fast changing conditions.
Society now is fascinating, in its built complexity, asymmetries, its countless conflicts,..., on how fast it is changing, affected by technology and science developments. The large frame of my research and interests lies in the intersection of art and social sciences.
Through my research and practice, I've been questioning some given shared structures such as work, and how it is intimately related to -if not formulated by- control and power structures.
Power and control dynamics and how they work within society have been often present in my research -as they are in our lives, intertwined with almost everything- not only through my approach to work, but also to new media derived from the internet.
I've been deeply interested in corporate social platforms and how they are shaping our reality, affecting information and power distribution, saturating our spaces, shaping our thoughts and knowledge, moulding subjectivity formation and our behaviour,.... it all.
Beneath these topics often lies the complexity and confusion of being these days.
I'll keep disentangling issues related with how we are, how we behave and relate to others and how often power systems operate within us and our lives, all with a critical spirit and a sense of humour.
